This policy explains what information Hire Helpers LLC, which operates HireHelpers.com ("HireHelpers", "we", "us"), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number (optional), and sign-in details handled by our authentication provider (Google Firebase Authentication). We never see or store your password.
- Job information: the project details, ZIP code, timing, and budget you submit, and messages you exchange with pros.
- Pro information: business name, description, services, service areas, license and insurance details, phone, and website that pros add to their profile.
- Payment information: pros pay through Stripe. We receive confirmation of purchases but not full card numbers.
- Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To match your job with relevant pros and let pros contact you.
- To send transactional emails such as job confirmations, new messages, and account notices.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.
- To improve and troubleshoot the service.
Who sees your information
Pros see a summary of your project (without your name, email, or phone) when we notify them. Your contact details are shared only with pros who unlock your request. Public pro profile information and reviews are visible to everyone. We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, payments, authentication) who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can update your name and phone from your dashboard. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential browser storage for sign-in, your theme preference, and to save an in-progress job request on your device. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
HireHelpers is not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
